Thought I would post pictures of the cards we made with Deanna when she came to Edmonton. She does beautiful layered cards and shares her talent with us. Going to workshops or classes is so important to your creativity. You get to work and visit with like minded people, and in this case we learn how to recreate a flat piece of paper into a card of beauty, this leads to how you can also make a scrapbook page, and how to cut and use certain designs on your paper to use in other projects. We are even taught to relax when we make a mistake, it can usually be fixed, as skill I needed a couple of times. Thank you Deanna.
Hi my name is Dianne, my husband and I live in outside of Edmonton Alberta, Canada. We are blessed with three children and six grandchildren, all of whom I have enjoyed making different things for. The last few years has been canning from our garden and cards. Now that I'm retired I have time to do what I love doing, making cards. Cards that are layered or clean simple cards, usually with a floral theme. Movement with colour is important to me, and I spend a lot of time watching how the colours in the sky change, reflections in the water. No matter where one looks we can see variations of colour. This year I am going to be learning how to Improve my card making on a more professional level.
