These two pictures look the same but are slightly different in the size of the colour blending, both very beautiful.
For my card front I used the masking and blending technique from Laura Bassen with her Clean, Simple and Colourful lessons with Altenew Academy. I used the Hero Arts Stamp Kit from last summer. Versa Mark Ink and Nuvo Glacier White Embossing Powder The inks are Distress Oxides – Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, and Cracked Pistachio. And also sequins from my stash.
I stamped and embossed my Neena Solar White Card Stock #110, of course I used my powder tool first. After heating my embossing powder I taped of an area just above the scene on a diagonal and applied my inks in the order listed above, moving my tape down after each application. Each application is heavy on the bottom and lightly blended into the colour above. I added some star sequins across the sky, mounted the panel on some fun foam and onto my card bass. Put a strip of gold foil on the bottom and added the sentiment on black card stock, with the Nuvo Embossing Powder and called it done. The difference between the two cards are blending lines, one is thicker than the other. The first one was with the thin lines, a little harder to get the distinction between the lines and harder to get the darker bottom edges. I personally love the way both turned out and can see these being used as a party card.
