Have a Lovely Day

I loved making this card, using the Altenew Delicate Flower Background. Inked with Versa Mark, then embossed with Nova Glacier White embossing powder on Water colour card stock. After this I chose my background colours-Marnie Grape and Emerald. Because I used pens I scribbled the colours onto a craft mat, took a watercolour brush loaded with water wiped the card then added the Grape then Emerald. Be sure to move your brush in the same direction with both colours and let them blend together. I love how the colours blended and did not make mud. After doing the background I built my flowers using Altenew Sweet Violet build a flower and dies. One flower had Hero Arts Inks – Butter Bar, Sunflower, Fiesta Yellow, Orange Soda, and Fiesta Red. The other flower was built with Robin Egg Blue, Soft Sky, Summer Sky, Real Topaz, and Fiesta Teal. the Leaves are made with Stampin Up Certainly Celery, Lucky Limeaide, Gumball Green and Always Artichoke.

While making the flowers and leaves I made extra, never know when i will need them. I worked hard to place my stamps according to the instructions and was amazed at the how they built up and looked when finished, even if they were not perfectP1010448.jpg.

My sentiment was from the Seed Violet, Have a Lovely day. Then added the sequins for bling, and it is now done.

  1. I love learning how to use backgrounds keeping them soft, then adding vibrant colours to the flowers
